About the Artist
Dutch design studio Demakersvan fuses the work of talented professionals including filmmakers, artists, and scientists into a movement that will go beyond ego and encourage collaboration, resulting in works that act as ‘super storytellers’. They are quickly emerging as a pioneer in design art, with clientele ranging from prestigious museums such as the Victoria and Albert Museum (London) to top architectural firms and interior designers around the world. Working with museums, architecture-, furniture- and fashion companies, commercial brands and self-initiated projects, wherever the starting point is, challenging, thought provoking and beautiful products are envisioned and flawlessly executed.
Established in 2005 by Parisian entrepreneurs and art devotees Loic Le Gaillard and Julien Lombrail, Carpenters Workshop Gallery is known for its discovery of bold and iconic design-art. Like many of the artists it fosters, the gallery takes a young, fresh and dynamic approach, primarily following its own aesthetic. They exhibit unique and limited edition works both by emerging and established artists, and designers.
