Far from traditional jewellery, Hermien Cassiers (Belgium, 1991) studied design at the Antwerp Royal Academy of Fine Art. Inspired by Architecture and Volume, she creates geometrical gold links, craftily intertwined each other. Her designs come from precise mathematical formulas, that each time result in a different chain with different flexibility movement and volume. Airy, subtle and poetic as well as structured and rational, her works are gold sculptures to wear, designed and manufactured by hand in her studio.
