Paul Créange was born in 1987. He currently lives in Paris and works in Saint-Denis (93). After studying philosophy at the Faculty of Letters in Nice he enters the Beaux-Arts de Paris in 2010 in the studio of Patrick Tosani, he graduated with honors in 2015. Between 2016 and 2018 he lives and works in Berlin as a film set designer and discovers the creation of SF and SFX worlds. He returned to France in 2018 to curate the exhibition «Feÿ – Rencontres d’Arts» at the Château du Feÿ in Burgundy. Since 2018, he works in his studio in Saint-Denis and develops a sculptural language that combines photography, light and contemporary materials. He participates in solo and group exhibitions in France and abroad («As it comes», Karl Marx Studio, Paris 2021. «Low tech», Meyrin, Switzerland.2021 «Detour», Los Angeles, 2020 «Horology», Jack Hanley Gallery, New York City, 2019…), conceives public works In-situ (Program «a building a work», Saint-Denis, 2022) by including young people of the territory in the works (Workshop photography with the CM1 of the elementary school Maria Casares, Saint-Denis, May 2021) as well as on perennial works in private collections and foundations. He regularly collaborates with brands: Yoji Yamamoto (2019), Rimowa (2021), Moleskine (2022).
