Named after the supergiant galaxy Meisser87, over 50 million lightyears from Earth, Paris Kain’s M87 Ring settles a Herkimer Crystal within a silver and platinum alloy ring, streaked with 18k gold and featuring an off-centred diamond. The M87 ring comes in a limited edition of 30, available exclusively at Carpenters Workshop Jewellery.
Kain’s artistic style, which he describes as "Techno Surrealism," blends ancient and modern elements. His choice of materials, such as meteorites, reflects his fascination with the journey through time and space, inspired by childhood visits to the Natural History Museum. Influenced by artists like Gustave Moreau and his mother, who worked as an artist under the name ‘Capucine’, his work reaches an otherworldly space, the process guided by the materials he uses - each stone dictating the final form. He envisions his work evolving into living spaces, bringing the museum experience home. Inspired by philosophical concepts like Abraxas - the Gnostic deity of coexist duality, the more you learn the less you know, his designs embody the duality of existence.
Artist

Paris Kain
Paris Kain is a multimedia artist and jewellery designer born and raised in New York City. As his father was an acclaimed inventor and his mother a master enamelist, the fine arts seemed a natural life path. After spending the night inside the King’s Chamber in the Great Pyramid of Giza, Kain was immediately drawn to ancient history and sacred geometry, an interest that has taken him around the globe, inspiring much of his work.
