The treasures of Martin Szekely owned by Karl Lagerfeld.

At the end of 2021, Sotheby's France auctioned the private collection of Karl Lagerfeld , two years after the death of the German fashion designer. Among the approximately 1,200 lots put up for sale were many pieces signed Martin Szekely, a renowned designer who was particularly fond of the famous artistic director of Chanel. The Carpenters Workshop Gallery , which acquired some of them on this exceptional occasion, presents precisely at the PADtwo tables (one rectangular, the other round) as well as two identical shelves by the French designer, dated from the end of the 2000s and restored. Furniture in light and smooth aluminum with an infinitely worked structure of which Martin Szekely reveals a precious interior, made of glass or honeycomb.
