The Campana Brothers utilise their Sushi collection to show off explosive amounts of colour. Tightly wrapped rolls of fabric, foam and rubber are cut in cross-sections to form the frame of the Sushi Mirror, allowing each layer of colour and texture to be viewed in profile like rings on a tree. The versatile Sushi pattern has been adapted across a range of artworks. The meticulous process uses colours as ingredients, arranging each in unique formations to arrive at a hypnotic final design.
Brazilian artists Fernando and Humberto Campana revolutionised global design since opening Studio Campana in 1984. Their work is proudly Brazilian, defined by bright colours, stylised figuration and a chaotic energy. Each piece they craft is infused with its own unique soul.
