Charlotte Perriand creates functional living spaces following the idea that better design helps in creating a better society. This cabinet called Brazza Cupboards is a furniture made for the Air France housing unit in Congo Brazzaville. Perriand has collaborated with Jean Prouvé to design this innovative concept of integrated closet made of a removable frame – partly in folded steel sheet, partly in folded aluminum sheet – in which "ironwood" guides are embedded allowing the diamond-cut aluminum doors to slide.
