Eclosion is a series that contemplates the final stage of metamorphosis. It takes its inspiration from the hatching phenomenon in which a newly emerged life is typically able to exist. The Murano glass "ball" is mouth blown and hand shaped by the glass master to create each vase, making them all unique. The glass then goes through its own metamorphosis and changes into a solid state. It is then cold worked by hand to reach its final shape.
