Léa Mestres Dixie

Dixie is a floor lamp by Léa Mestres that features a rough, textured cement surface painted to create a gradient colour effect of yellow and white in a vertical striped pattern. Mestres first sculpts the piece by carving into foam, then covers it in her own plaster recipe. Adding to the artist’s Craving for Crépi collection, the weighty, organic shape of this work reflects Mestres’ unique approach to design, which celebrates the beauty of imperfection and the freedom of imagination.
