Mental Klinik are an artistic duo with a multifaceted, mirrorball-like view of the universe. The studio has a fascination with all that glitters, sparkles, beams and shines; like a moth to a flame, they are always searching for the shadow behind the light. Their art conveys an underlying sense of the come down after a hedonistic party, suggesting a darker, more violent, side to pleasure. Their mirrors combine two disjointed sheets of glass, creating a layered reflection from a fractured composition.
