Through sculptural pieces resembling organic shapes, Nacho Carbonell explores various formations of colour, light and materiality. Rainbow 2.0 features broken glasses welded together in an arc shape, creating the illusion of a rainbow. The artist’s inspiration for this piece ranged from the demolition of a city landscape to the stained-glass windows and mosaics of old churches.
