Nacho Carbonell Wooden Rainbow (TC 7/2022)

In this sculpture collection, Landform, Spanish artist Nacho Carbonell combines the physical textures of his native landscapes with the cultural overlay of human presence, creating an evocation of the human experience. Parverpol, wooden sticks and sawdust create the multi-layered texture in Wooden Rainbow to build an arc shape on the top of the table. In a burst of colour, the two table legs are created out of rusted metal, emphasising the different dimensions of the table top. Using discarded wood, Nacho’s table attempts to rebuild the past, and takes inspiration from tree bark and the dimensions found in a forest.
