This light has a double personality: by placing the dimmable LED tube either inside or diagonally through the marble column, Soft Screen’s looks switches between a discrete glowing column and a strong graphical sign, affirming its presence in space. The entirely lit facade with its softened edges is made of pink Onyx , whereas the back is carved in grey Pietra di Vicenza.

Robert Stadler
Robert Stadler was born in Vienna in 1966. The designer has always been drawn to the details of objects and the narratives they evoke. He studied design at the Istituto Europeo di Design in Milan before attending the École Nationale Supérieure de Création Industrielle in Paris in the late 1980s. He has continued to work in Paris ever since.
