The fragmented ensemble is inspired by nature and more precisely by volcanology. The titular bomb of this sofa refers to the viscous matter ejected by a volcano, that lands in random patterns. Inspired by these natural ejections, Robert Stadler proposed a complex set-up, designing a functional archipelago that features sofas, chaise longues, tables and armchairs. Combined they confirm the illusion that Stadler bowed to the will of nature, aligning his designs with its unexpected chaos.
