Thibault Hazelzet is a French experimental artist born in 1975. He lives and works in Paris. Trained as a painter, Thibault Hazelzet works in the medium of photography, sculpture, painting, and lately in metal with a collection of jewellery and design pieces. His latest jewellery and design creations mix ceramics with cast bronze, aluminium, or silver. His work is characterised by formal research on the subject of “delicate brutalism”, the line and especially the confrontation of the abstraction and the figure. As well as by a transversality of the various mediums which answer and assemble each other. The objects produced are thus part of a whole, of a universe, which in spite of the multiplicity of the materials, always maintain a real coherence.
