Terence Woodgate 4 Doors Overlap Cabinet

Terence Woodgate’s works serve not just as demonstrations of technology but as visual essays on equilibrium. In the work Overlap Cabinet, created in collaboration with racing car engineer John Barnard, thin exposed doors extend to totally overlap the cabinet body, emphasising lightness. The long, low rectangular cabinet is almost hidden behind the sheet facade of doors. The entire cabinet is supported on two thin carbon fibre legs, producing a subtle equilibrium. The entire piece is finished in durable recycled carbon fibre, sanded and waxed.
