Not Forgotten by Wendell Castle exemplifies the unconventional forms that the artist injected into the American Art Furniture movement. This sculptural table is crafted in Castle’s famous stack lamination technique, remaining light in form despite the many layers of wood that form it. The void-like hole in the centre removes unnecessary weight without affecting the structure’s integrity, therefore allowing greater freedom to expand the work's overall volume.
