The Kid armchair is a lightweight piece of furniture with a modern feel. Caldas created the design at the beginning of his career, soon after opening his company Fábrica Moveis Artísticos Z. The piece was one of the young designer’s first major accomplishments and marks a milestone in his artistic development. Made of pau marfim wood and upholstered with leather, the armchair prioritizes comfort without sacrificing aesthetics. The piece is functional and durable as well as beautiful, a hallmark of Caldas’ deeply personal style.
