Born in Paris, José Lévy enters the world of design through the fashion door. First with his eponymous label José Lévy à Paris, he establishes himself both as an outstanding colourist and as a tailor working with the utmost precision. His style, characterized by a chic that is altogether casual, uncompromising and irreverent, wins him immediate success and visibility with an international audience. He also directs creation for Cacharel, Nina Ricci, Holland & Holland and Ungaro.
José Lévy is Laureate of the Villa Kujoyama, Grand Prix de la ville de Paris and Chevalier des Arts et Lettres. He has collaborated with the Manufacture de Sèvres,Hermés, diptryque, Musée de la Chasse,Perrotin Galley, St. Louis, Astier de Villate, among others.
