José Lévy

Born in Paris, José Lévy entered the world of design through fashion. With his eponymous label José Lévy à Paris, he quickly established himself as both an exceptional colourist and a tailor of precise craftsmanship.

Arist Biography

His style—chic yet casual, uncompromising, and irreverent—brought him immediate recognition and an international following. He went on to direct design for Cacharel, Nina Ricci, Holland & Holland, and Ungaro.

Lévy is a Laureate of the Villa Kujoyama, a recipient of the Grand Prix de la Ville de Paris, and a Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres. His collaborations include projects with the Manufacture de Sèvres, Hermès, Diptyque, Musée de la Chasse, Perrotin Gallery, Saint-Louis, and Astier de Villatte, among others.
