Phillip Arctander

Philip Arctander (1916-1994) was a Danish architect and designer. Arctander’s foray into furniture design lasted between 1939-1947, when he worked for an independent architect in Copenhagen. He later became director of the Danish Building Research Institute (SBI), where he was an adviser to the United Nations on construction and housing issues.
