The word 'Venda' is a direct reference to the Venda people, a Southern African Bantu group living mostly near the South African-Zimbabwean border. Palwer embodies its tribal aesthetic with the combination of mammoth horn set on a gold plinth supported by the ebony ring. The Venda ring harmonises multiple materials and geometric shapes to create a bold but delicate design.
