Artist Vincenzo De Cotiis Explores Possible Futures In New Exhibition At Ladbroke Hall

Artist and designer Vincenzo De Cotiis is looking at contemporary archways not in their historical context but rather to reimagine our understanding of ruins as fragments of possible futures. As part of the fall art season and Frieze London 2023, “Archaeology of Consciousness” at Ladbroke Hall explores materials — from rare and ancient stones to reclaimed fibreglass and Murano glass — to symbolise a vision of future archaeology where the marks of nature and human-made interventions intertwine.
