Crystal
This series by Aldo Bakker in collaboration with Lobmeyr refers to Arthur Schnitzler's, Reigen, a late 19th-century German play centered on themes of sexual morality. Bakker invokes these themes through the crystal by designing them with the ability to stack and pair the tumblers in a variety of pairings. Three closed tumblers can be matched/stacked on the three open tumblers, resulting in 18 combinations in total while also being able to be independent, stand-alone tumblers. “It's about the continuous line, like a balloon. The glasses match each other, but each has its own character,” says Bakker. The six tumblers in this series have their own names, based on Arthur Schnitzler's dance. The glasses are made of mouth blown muslin crystal.
Handwash is recommended.
