Also, from the Hybridism collection, Arachnid Chair in Black pays homage to the spider’s web, acting as a symbol to honour and preserve smaller creatures like the spider. The plush weave of thick velvet covers the chair’s organic shape as a web would the irregular mountains of the Atlantic Forest. Intertwined with the landscape as the fabric covers the frame structure, the web reminds us of the delicate equilibrium of nature’s ecosystem.
One can also ponder the intriguing and surreal notion of being enveloped within a spider’s web as the realm of our imaginations takes over.
