Léa Mestres 4-6 Ciutat Vella

4-6 Ciutat Vella is part of a new series by Léa Mestres called Welcome to Mestresville exploring the use of mosaic tiles to create vivid sculptures. Inspired by the colourful mosaics that adorn Palau de la Música Catalana in Barcelona, this large, yellow standing lamp reflects Mestres’ interest in creating works that evoke joy. The artist uses bright colours to reflect her own personality and inject a sense of fun into the practice of design.
