Concrete Chair White by Wendell Castle illustrates the voluminous curved works that came to define the artist's oeuvre. Revered as the founding father of the American Art Furniture movement, Castle was a pioneer of blurring the line between art and design, taking a distinctive and organic approach to sculpture. Although primarily known for working in wood, this piece shows how Castle also incorporated materials like concrete into his practice, thus continually reinventing himself over his 60-year career.

Combi Cocoon 2 is a light sculpture by Nacho Carbonell shaped as a sinuous tree, with a seat and side table growing organically from its welded metal roots. Through an experiential and tactile practice, the Spanish artist experiments with recycled industrial materials while also putting the viewer in contact with the elements of nature. This tree grows from roughly hewn concrete block that represents an urban landscape, reflecting the power of plants to colonise any environment, no matter how inhospitable.

Through vibrant tones, vivid shapes, and explorations of organic forms, the works showcased signal the adventurous, inventive tendencies seen in collectible design today. Forecasting the creative landscape of 2026 and beyond, this display celebrates the intersection between art, design and craftsmanship, and its ever-growing significance for the Latin American art market.
