Baby Ring by celebrated artist Cindy Sherman x LIZWORKS, is hand-carved by Italian artisans and exclusively available at Carpenters Workshop Gallery. The artwork displays a self-portrait of artist Cindy Sherman superimposed on a baby’s body, engraved in sardonyx shell and augmented by an 18k rose gold fixture.
Playing on the dual meaning of cameo as both an item of jewellery and a short intimate performance, this collaboration produced wearable works of art that render Sherman’s cameo-like performances in never-before-seen three dimensions.
