Dandelight is a subtle and imaginative table light. From the same ‘Fragile Future’ body of works by DRIFT, it is a utopian vision of the amalgamation between nature and technology. Dandelight is created from a real dandelion, each of which is handpicked every spring. Each seed is individually glued onto a LED, one by one. This labour-intensive process symbolizes the fragility of life. This structure can be understood as a clear statement towards the mass production prevailing in today’s disposable culture.
Dandelights are powered using a USB and are compatible with any USB plug.
