Niels Hoebers & Maarten Baas explore the playful nature of Baas' art in this Mini Clay series, a project born of Hoebers' stop-motion animation 'Clay 2056'. Here, Hoebers and Baas present the Mini Clay Fan in a limited edition of 50 as a continuation of Baas' Clay furniture series, for which he won global acclaim. The pieces are cast in an array of strident colours, and their minimal forms evoke the same innate joy as their full-size counterparts.
Each fan is signed by Maarten Baas and comes packaged in a suitably sized crate. Powered by a USB cable, the fans work on a 5V USB-adapter (not included). Due to its size, the fan does not cool much. To maximise lifespan of the fan's motor, we advise the fan is only turned on in 6 hour increments.
