A set of three white ”Savoy” vases in different heights designed by Alvar Aalto for Iittala. The first series of these pieces was made to be shown in the Finnish section at the Paris World Exhibition in 1937. This model is a cult piece of Finnish design that was specifically created for the Savoy restaurant in Helsinki, which opened in 1937 and which design was inspired by a silhouette of traditional Eskimo female dress.
