Angelo Lelli is considered as one of the most prominent designers on Italian modern scene. He founded the lighting company Arredoluce in Manza (near Milan) after World War II and he was particularly mindful of the functional aspect of his creations. Lelii combined simple and minimalist forms with articulated arms and adjustable lampshades. This light fixture presents Lelii's modernist view manifesting in the piece's decorative elements and its usability.
