Nacho Carbonell’s artistic practice evokes landscapes full of texture and life, and captures these memories in a quasi-fossilisation of nature.
The artist’s light sculptures, inspired by gnarled trees on Spain’s sun-baked coastline, exist in a permanent state of preservation. Roots become concrete, leaves become rock, and the artwork exists in a hybrid state between a natural and industrial aesthetic.
